We propose a novel concept for modular robots, termed fluidic propulsion (MFP), which promises to combine effective propulsion, large reconfiguration space, and scalable design. MFP robots are fluid networks. To propel, they route through themselves. In this article, both hydraulic pneumatic implementations considered.
